Apart from gay bear communities and clubs, gay bear online sites have become the ideal place where potential gay bear members and visitors can establish contact with other members.
In terms of their profiles, most visitors to the sites are gay or bisexual men who upload pictures of their faces. Their ages range from early 30's to late 50's, and they specify where they are located. Most profiles go with names such as "Hot Hairy Italian Bottom," "Cub in search of daddy," or, simply, "Young at heart and keen to fuck."
All profilers seek "man to man" contacts, and most add a bit of personal information about themselves, or whom they would like to meet. Examples of these include: "I'm looking for Mr. right. Bullshitters please pass on by." Some provide specific information about their body size and weight, as well as their hobbies: "Hairy, tattooed, 5ft7, 70kg, English Italian, love the outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, travel, cinema, theater, wine and dine, quiet evenings at home. A fun-loving, easy-going person. I never regret things in life. Open minded, have no time for players."
While others are simply looking to have a good time ("Not interested in a relationship...just fun on the side."), some are a bit more serious about their prospective gay bear relationships: "I enjoy the company of other people. I like to spend quality time with friends and family. I'm young of heart. Honest, friendly and like to please others. I prefer to mix with a hand full of true friends than a hundred acquaintances, pretending to be caring and interested."
